The classic MINI hardtop is recognizable by almost everyone, whether you own a MINI or not. Its traditional tiny design has stood the test of time, but from time to time it deserves a refresh and the 2019 model is giving consumers just that.

Our U.S. market will see purely cosmetic changes with production beginning in March. It will sport a new logo which adopts a contemporary two-dimensional design that all new MINIs moving forward will feature. The incredible LED headlights showcase a new look, and with that includes a British flag design on the tail lights. Additional extras include a backlit dash with another Union Jack motif, new wheel designs, three new colors (Emerald Grey, Starlight Blue, and Solaris Orange), a new brown leather upholstery option, puddle lamps which project the MINI logo onto the ground, an updated 8.8-inch touchscreen navigation system, and Apple CarPlay.
What might be the coolest feature is the MINI Yours Customized program which lets owners individually personalize 3D-printed parts for the dashboard and side-mounted turn-signal surroundings. You can read more about this exciting new program in our last blog.
Engine options on the 2019 MINI are expected to remain the same. Base models receive a turbocharged engine which produces 134 horsepower, while the Cooper S produces 189 horsepower.
